Yomayra

This energetic and anointed Psalmist was born in the island of Puerto Rico on August 15th. She was brought up in the church with a passion for the Gospel. Yomayra received her calling to music ministry at the age of 12. It was then that she purposed in her heart to sing to transform lives and restore those that have been broken. At that same time her spiritual walk began to develop as well as her music ministry. Yomayra became a leader in the church at the young age of 13. She preached her first message at 15 years of age. As a teen she also became a Sunday school teacher among other roles she fulfilled in the church. She continued her walk with the Lord fully involved in youth ministry as well as music ministry. She begins to travel locally as she joins a worship music ministry. In 2004 she marries Lindsey Stephens. She continues to be a part of other music ministries in the Gospel music realm. Years later, after traveling throughout the U.S. with several music ministries she finally launches her first independent music recording as a soloist titled “Lluvia de bendicion” which translates to “Rain of blessings” in 2008. After launching her first CD project her ministry went to higher levels in every way. After successfully taking her music to many different venues throughout the U.S. & Latin America, God allows Yomayra & her husband Lindsey to open the doors to HD Praise Production Studio. There “Outspoken ~ Valiente” was born & launched March 26th, 2011. This album is the boldest & most passionate yet. This project contains songs of Yomayra’s authorship which are very close to her heart of worship. It was produced in its majority by her husband Lindsey Stephens & Co-produced by herself at their Recording Studio, HD Praise Productions. It is a bilingual project with powerful outspoken songs that reflect her faith & stand for the Kingdom of God. The purpose of her music is to transform, restore & set free. Her purpose is not only to go inside the four walls of the church, but to take this message to the world, no matter the language or nationality of the listener. Yomayra hopes to go to all nations with this message of faith, hope, & restoration.
