YORK!

York intentionally formed as a 3 piece acoustic band with singer dan pawlowski(21), guitarist john shay(20) and drummer matt rocco(21). After recording a quick 10 song acoustic demo, they fell upon the ears of producer/engineer david adam monroe who took their sound and helped them form something bigger and better. Quickly adding bassist brett hatfield(20) and taking a guest vocalist Emily Rickard(17)on their song "Are We Built" and making her a permannt member York was then formed. While recording they accidently met multi-platinum engineer earl cohen who said to have liked their sound and they had a chance to record with him in late august of 2009, a song called When Your Gone which will shortly be posted in october. In Sept of 2009 they picked up a second guitarist due to the dead sound that they felt when they would play live. Sean Barrett(22) was the final piece to this 90's influenced band. York plans on recording and playing shows with whatever they can grab.
