You Are Here

Forming in January of 2005, You Are Here was born and raised in the city of Oakville. Drummer Bryant was in a metal band in High school, and Kyle quickly picked up guitar while watching his brother's band make their noise. Kyle was a natural and soon started jamming with bassist Tom. Tom and Kyle joined a "TOOL" like band for about a year but the band broke up because of creative differances. Kyle and Tom then recruited Bryant to continue following their dream of making music. In their first year together, You Are Here has played all over Toronto's venues and even a few back yards in the Oakville area. Even falling a close second in the semi-finals of their first Emergenza international competition. You Are Here has a very unique sound and energy that will leave you humming there tunes long after you've heard them, and always bring you out to see more. You Are Here is not just another spot on the map, they are a rising talent that will rock you and leaving you screaming for more.
