Maybe its in response to the difficulties hes faced growing up. Or maybe its a result of his personality interacting with his environment but Young Aces music comes equipped with a mix of energetic qualities and an underlying positive streak that informs the way he conducts himself on a day to day.
The New Orleans born, San Antonio resident has shown an inclination toward self-reliance that's on full display on songs such, "No Bullshit," the first single from "Dreaming In Class." Here he takes the phrase, "It's my time to grind I ain't got time for no bullshit," and flips it into personal proverb one can carry with them as they deal with all the demands of life. Content such as this has translated into a loyal fan base in and around his city. Having sold roughly 2,000 physical copies of Dreaming In Class on the South Side of San Antonio alone & booking a string of shows including opening slots on the recent Texas run of the Lords of the Underground Tour, Ace hopes to keep growing his audience & his music while keeping the core of his message intact.
