"THE MAIN EVENT"

"Young Emcee, Young Adult, The Main Event" is the name of one of New York City's hottest and most lyrically gifted emcess. What separates this young star on the rise is that unlike many of his peers he has not even entered puberty yet. Coming from the East New York section of Brooklyn and representing ENYSET Entertainment this is definitely one up and coming artist to keep an eye on.
Now each and every year in the rap game we hear about some one new who is going to come in and shut the game down or be such an innovator that they will completely change the way that the game has been or is being played. In this case however it is clear to see that this kid is a superstar in the making. And what is even more surprising is that he possesses a flow that many adult emcees would die for. At the tender age of twelve and only in the sixth grade he has an understanding of lyricism well beyond his years. When you first see him or hear about him and how young he is, it is easy to dismiss him as another Lil Romeo or Bow Wow. But once he starts to rhyme the difference will become apparent in an instant. His diction, his precision, his knowledge of the TRUE art of emceeing separates him from what many would assume to be his peers.
Citing Easy-E and Big L as business and lyrical inspirations he wants to be an innovator in the rap game not an imitator. "I look up to them because they were different. Their styles were unique and what separates them from everyone else," says Young Adult. "In that regard I am trying to be different like they were and have my own style". He states that he is focused on becoming a star and having a career and he really has no time for much else.
He is currently working with producer Lex Lutha on the upcoming project, DA' REVOLUTIONARY MIXTAPE that is scheduled for release in June and will feature a collaboration with New Yorks current mixtape king Papoose (another of his inspirations). This youngster has more than a promising future ahead of him. He got his start as an emcee by listening to one of his father's raps and memorizing it. It was then that his father realized that he had the gift of rhyme. Now between school work and homework this young emcee is in the studio recording and writing and putting his stage show together. He is also on the road in the tri-state area doing four shows a month.
When I asked him if he had any favorite producers outside of Lex Lutha he calmly states Dr. Dre. He further elaborates that fans will probably find his style more street authenic than pop or bubblegum type rap. "I listen to all kinds of music but my style is a hardcore style like Styles P, Big Daddy Kane. I am versatile and I can make you dance but I am a TRUE emcee at heart."
Young Adult says that he wants to thank everyone on his team that are working hard for his success. The team includes his dad Armani, as well as his manager Pauli Puccio, his promoter Ray Cruz and the entire ENYSET Entertainment staff. With a gift of wisdom at an early age and talent to match it is safe to say the games most successful artist of all time. But being the young age of twelve time and rhyme are both on his side. ""The World's Best Kept Secret""

Young Adult, reppin' Brooklyn, born Jordan Rodriguez can proudly say he's been in this game and grindin' for a minute. He's been rapping since he was six years old and has been working on perfecting his craft ever since. He may only be thirteen but his tough life experiences have evolved his wordplay of that of a twenty-something year old. He has wisdom beyond his years and a truly gifted intellect. All his lyrics are self written and is very much involved in all aspects of the production of his work. Within his career, he has been the winner of numerous tri-state talent shows, created songs for "Reality Check", a non-smoking campaign aimed at youth and participated in Brooklyn's first ever Easter Parade and first annual Panamaniam Day Parade. He too has been featured on BLVD Enterprise's Compilation CDs I and II and is currently working on his second solo mixtape album. Young Adult has graced the TV audiences by being featured on at least thirty cable programs but a more notable accomplishment, this Main Event was the youngest participant to battle in the reknowned Fight Klub and win. Talk about big things! But the best is yet to come, this artist has yet to reach his prime and is already talked to be better than most Hip Hop artists out right now twice his age, so you can only imagine how nasty this kid will be in a few more years. He has already created a strong local buzz and earned the support and love of Brooklyn, but he won't stop there. He's going strong till he gets it all. Look out for features on him in TRU Magazine and Expose Magazine, One-Ten Magazine and an upcoming Tri-State promotional tour. Also check him in the "Hood Rich" DVD, "The Booth" DVD, "All Access" DVD, "Raw Unleashed" DVD, "U.M.A's" DVD, and coming this summer "What's Really Hood" DVD. More importantly, he has been nominated for best upcoming male rapper for this year's Underground Music Awards. The only juvenile to be nominated within the awards period.
