Young C.H.A.M.P.

Young C.H.A.M.P. - an acronym for Christ Has Altered My Perception - is a Christian rap artist and a Minister called to influence youth around the world. It all started in 2002 while attending a service at his home church. God told Young C.H.A.M.P. that He was going to send him into the inner cities and distant lands to spread His Word and to slay giants for His Kingdom. He did not fully understand what God meant at the time but little by little, he received clarity as he grew more in his walk with God.

Troubled by the path the inner city youth are taking by following the deceptions in media and entertainment along with its perverted content that is shaping and stripping away the moral fabric of their generation, Young C. H. A. M. P. felt duty bound to do something about it! He believes his assignment is to send out a clarion call to youth all around the world heavily influenced by these giants and compel them to become young champions who are not afraid to step out of the boats of compromise and mediocrity in order to set a standard of excellence and morality within their generation.

So far, in his journey he has shared the stage with some of Holy Hip Hop’s pioneer artists such as G. R. I. T. S. and Pettidee! Whether he is rapping at youth events, doing motivational speaking in schools or just sharing God’s Word with whomever he encounters, he continues to be a voice for the generation and the whole world to hear.
