Hailing from Woodstock, NY, Young Citizens is a live band with a growing reputation. Being a live band (they're first album still underway), Young Citizens is live in another sense: they're alive and wired! Rock would be a close enough description for all you categorizers out there, but who cares about exact genres when it's the attitude that counts? Genre alone never lead a generation. Time will tell where they go, but Young Citizens' sound is continuously evolving as they evolve together. Whether they're playing as an acoustic duo or full band, you can feel that the energy is always there. It is the fundamental approach to music that connects Young Citizens to their audience. Good songwriting and talent never hurts!
