Young Coconut

Young Coconut is a five piece rock band blending elements of psychedelic garage pop, back alley punk and arena rocking glamour. Songwriting is split between three singers--JoeJoe, Cody J and Remy Rhodes Martin--who trade off vocal duties, and each bring a unique personality to the equation. A rhythm section of guitars, drums, keys and bass tie the disparate styles into one cohesive package. It's no stretch of the imagination to say that Young Coconut is cinematic, or theatrical. Their outfits and stage presence blend with top notch songwriting and well tuned arrangements to create a narrative experience at once universal and avant-garde. A Young Coconut show is the prom at Rock'N'Roll high school as seen through a kaleidoscope.
