Young Contrarians is C. Garrison Browne and a revolving door of Stepford wives, all of which he has met along his travels to and from Southern California (where he lived with his uncle and legendary singer-songwriter Jackson Browne) to his current residence in Toronto.

Prior to the putting the Young Contrarians together, Browne spent 9 years in the Toronto psych-rock band Memory Bank before the group disbanded in 2008. He has also recorded and toured with Megan Hamilton and the Volunteer Canola as well as Stephen Stanley (Lowest of the Low).

Young Contrarians create simple, haunting and beautiful music; somewhere between Kate Bush, 10cc, Eno and The Flaming Lips.
