"Young Fame Hip Hop Sensation"

19 Year Old Hip-Hop Sensation Young Fame Releases Smokin' Debut Single My Star
February 11, 2010

(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 10, 2010 ) BALTIMORE, MD 3 Shots Productions artist Young Fame has teamed up with Lanesha Carmichael to record his debut single My Star produced by Gold-Certified Producer DJ Pain and co-published by Warner/Chappell Music. Already, My Star has created a buzz on Internet radio stations, averaging well over 600 spins a week monitored by Radio Wave Monitor.

My Star is an uplifting, feel-good relationship type song with all the elements of a commercially well-produced single that still manages to retain a street cred, hood essence. Produced by Gold-certified Producer DJ PAIN who produced Don't Do It from Young Jeezys album The Recession, My Star is just one of the many hit songs to be released by Young Fame on his upcoming album Green Arrow due to release September 2010.
Young Fame was born in Barstow, California but started his career as a teenager when he moved to Maryland. Tragedy struck Young Fame early on with the unexpected loss of his brother, Tragic, to gun violence on the brutal Baltimore streets. However, Young Fame found solace in his music and learned to cope with his brother's death.
Influenced by, Lupe Fiasco, Sean Kingston, Rick Ross, Riana, Razah, Chris Brown, Tu-pac, Biggie and DMC, Young Fame credits God for his strength to keep pressing forward.
"Their lyrical ability has influenced me greatly but most of all God has given me the courage to reach my goals, even though many said I wouldn't make it," says Young Fame.
Over the past few years, Young Fame has performed at various shows across Maryland, including Morgan State Home Coming in 2008, which was hosted by DJ Quick Silva. His first video Take What's Mine aired nationally for two months on Music Choice On Demand, and with the highly anticipated release of My Star he looks forward to performing with Major artists across the nation. Young Fame's live show combines Hip-Hop and Rap with his remarkable and vibrant song writing skills to give fans something totally different.

"I write my own songs so if I can write a great track without the limiting use of curse words then that's the style for me", says Young Fame, "As an artist, my goal is to make my messages powerful throughout my music. I want everyone to feel my music and understand my background and standards in life, my albums will convey that message.

The music is all about the authenticity of Young Fame. He is a talented individual and an exceptional producer who offers something different from other entertainers out there.
"I am a powerful lyrical artist and I'm ready to share it with the world.

Ourstage Pick: Young Fame
“Callin’ Shots”

Hip Hop

Young Fame proves his namesake should be true with “Callin’ Shots.” This young rapper is reminiscent of radio friendly hip ‘hop that doesn’t need samples to be infectiously chant- worthy.

"MY STAR-MUSIC REVIEW-1-18-2010"

Young Fame, what a perfect name for this new Hip Hop artist to Starfleet Music Pool & what a perfect title for his new song, "My Star" which is on the rise around the USA & soon around the globe. We just received this new release & we've already got rave response from our VIP Hip Hop members & their audiences. I can see our Registered DJs jumping on this ASAP with the same kind of success. Young Fame has the vocals that work well for an Urban/Hip Hop crowd & with hot production on this first track, which runs around 88 bpm, this should be loading up dancefloors well into the Spring of 2010. I expect radio to be on top of this hit very soon, especially once the mixshow DJs start working it.

"SPOT LIGHT-YOUNG FAME"

Young Fame was only six when Biggie died, but he made quite an impression on soon-to-be rapper. The now 19-year-old Baltimore MC known as Tyrone Marshall respects those that came before him and imbues his club-oriented tracks with his own story and life philosophy.

Though he is still in his teenage years (at least for another month or so), Young Fame has already had his share of hard knocks, losing his brother to gun violence on the streets of Baltimore. He sought refuge from his grief in music, dedicating himself to hip-hop that listeners can not only relate to, but understand and learn from.

Currently Young Fame is preparing his debut album, Green Arrow, for release in September. The LP features production by DJ Pain (who has produced for the likes of Young Jeezy) and LX Cruze, resulting in what Young Fame promises to be an assortment of "multiple singles, party songs and hood bangas." In the meantime, you can hear Young Fame's latest single, "My Star," which features singer Lanesha Carmichael, on his SonicBids and MySpace pages.
