"Young Fate At Surface Unsigned Festival"

The third act of the night was Telford based four-piece Young Fate. A mix of Hip-Hop, Garage and RnB - It's an energetic, upbeat direction that really works for them. Its a busy sound with four strong vocals fighting for your attention, and its to their credit how well they bring it together. Reeney's melodic singing voice really contrasted the raw aggression of the other three and this really worked to give their sound a distinctive, fresh edge. Live they are great - tight and engaging - It made for a genuinely impressive set from an act with some real potential - Stephen Hudyba
