Is it Possible for someone so young to speak so IV Real?

Beyond the charismatic, energetic surface of 25 year old rapper, Young IV Real, runs deep the poetic voice for the streets of underprivileged and Black youth; a voice promoting self expression of inner truth, social injustice and equality. Maryland native, Young IV Real discovered his musical talent in 1994 when at age 12, he learned to play the keyboard by ear earning him the title, in 1996, of lead keyboard player for a local Go-Go band Absolute Chaos. But it wasnt until 1998 when Young IV Real truly uncovered his talent. As a sophomore at Bladensburg High School, Young IV Real discovered that listening to music was more than a form of entertainment. Music began to overwhelm his mind with thought provoking poetry infused with clever metaphors and lyrical intricacies.

Impressed with his skillful prose, friends of Young IV Real openly praised his talents and encouraged the young star to write and record. In 1998, Young IV Real wrote his first song titled, Hood Life. Upon graduation from Tall Oaks High School, Young IV Real began a full out pursuit of his career, leading to countless hours of studio recording and infinite pages of lyrical masterpieces. Acknowledged by many as truly authentic, Young IV Real says, My uniqueness comes from my ability to learn and grow with every stroke of the pen. Inspired by the works of artist Tupac Shakur, Talib Kweli, Eminem, and Yukmouth, Young IV Real strives to express the truth surrounding world issues of political corruption, racial inequalities, and self-destruction.

Young IV Real was blessed with more than the gift of poetic integrity. A powerful dichotomy of purpose and personality allows this artist to break through the walls of todays youth. Seamless flows mix with uncanny charisma and charm leaving audiences with the perfect balance of light-hearted humor underlined with the realities plaguing the future of Black youth.

Young IV Real performances can be seen throughout the Washington D.C Metropolitan area. He has made appearances at Club Levels, Republic Gardens, ENVY, Crossroads Night Club, Island Café, Club Five, and The Market Lounge. Also in New York at The CITY Night Club and the Gallery Night club.
