Bio

YOUNG: Rambunctious and full of vibrancy with an infectious energy that's impossible to ignore SHARP: Razor sharp lyrics and swag that leaves onlookers slashed with amazement READY: Eager to usher in a new genre of youth reigned hip-hop Having already been declared as the new teen king of hip-hop by Bow Wow himself, the charismatic and uber-talented Young Jinsu is eager to harbinger in a new wave of youth swayed hip-hop. Born Jah-Youth (God’s child) Lopez in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on September 24, 1993, Jinsu was exposed to hip-hop from conception. While in his mother’s womb, the destined superstar’s father would often place headphones to his wife’s belly, blasting the sounds and rhythms of Notorious B.I.G and Redman to his unborn, causing baby Jinsu to go ballistic. At the age of 5 years old, Jinsu’s godfather began dubbing him Jinsu, because of his immaculate from head to toe appearance and his sharp-edged rhyme delivery. As a young child, Jinsu enjoyed a happy and loving childhood, heavily laced with the influence hip-hop. Until the tender age of 8 years old, when his mother abruptly abandoned him, dropping him off at his aunt’s home, never returning again. Bewildered and anguished by his mother’s unexplained exit, Jinsu cried hysterically to his father, who’d immediately taken sole custody of Jinsu. After a year had passed, Jinsu eventually heard from his mother and she came clean about her startling lifestyle of drugs, prostitution and jail. Young Jinsu maintains an eternal love for his mother and holds her in high esteem. He enthusiastically looks forward to hearing from her on the holidays, and hopes to one day see her again. Young Jinsu is driven by his fond memories of her and a desire to share his success with her. He even wrote a song for his mother called Momma to let her know; "There’s only one man that can walk in you shoes…you were quick with the ice when your boy got a bruise…you were quick with the Band aids when I got a cut, I love to see your pretty face when I’m rippin’ it up!” Never deterred, Jinsu held fast and steady to his dream. He became a force to be reckoned with in his hometown of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and his buzz quickly began skyrocketing throughout the east coast region. The young heartthrob became such a hot commodity, that local club owners would sneak him in to perform songs about childhood for mature audiences who hung onto every word, and eventually his strong buzz and irrefutable star quality caught the attention of Four Kings Productions during an NYC audition, prompting them to make Young Jinsu an official member of the Four Kings movement. The young hip-hop ruler’s commanding and captivating stage presence has sparked the interest of numerous hip-hop industry elitist, including P. Diddy, who brought Jinsu onstage during a show in Boston, where he held his own with the likes of Fabulous and Craig David. Additionally, Young Jinsu has shared stages with Bow Wow, Method Man and Wu Tang Clan. Young Jinsu is featured on the Bow Wow track Get It In on Bow Wow’s latest album, The Price of Fame, has a wildly popular mixtape track with Chris Brown called Never Change, he’s toured with the And1 Killa Crossover Tour ,appeared on 106 & Park’s Wild Out Wednesday, and opened up for Lil Wayne. Young Jinsu is far beyond his years in wisdom, yet humble, hopeful and full of promise. It’s easy for anyone who encounters him to see Jinsu is more than just young and sharp, but ready to reign.
