Young Mike AKA Michael Blackman was born March 19th 1992 in Toronto Ontario, now resides in Ajax Ontario with his parents, brother and sister. Music has always been a part of his life either from his father’s band rehearsals in their basement to his older brother rapping and producing hip hop at their home..
Young-Mike has shown a keen interest in pursuing a career in music as he started making beats, writing hooks and free style rap at the tender age of 10.
Free style battles at his elementary school and at high school has created a buzz in the local schools community, making him very popular amongst his peers.
Young-Mike now a grade 12 graduate and on his way to college, his bayface appearence makes him look much younger than 18. He has made a commitment to promote his career as a Rap Artist.
In his own words “music is my life” and will be the foundation in his journey to success.
Young-Mike has been remixing popular songs and sharing with his fan base on Facebook and Myspace which has made him become sorted out and more popular by his growing fan base and friends.
He has release his debut mix-tape on September 15th 2009 which also included collaboration tracks with his brother C-Black and has gotten great reviews.
His debut single BiG BosS featuring Propa-Fade is an original track planned to be released in July 2010 followed by his next single Don’t Know Why. featuring Kim Davis and “Rockit” Just to name a few from his album which were all produced him.
