Young Sween is slated to release his first solo project "Goodie Room" sometime this summer. Some songs from this album have already been on mixtapes and the internet response to the music has been above all expectations. Swagga Check with Latavia Roberson, formerly of Destiny's Child, is slated to be the breakout hit of the album, but don't be surprised if several other songs top that single.

Young Sween is a hip-hop artist that combines the influence of all rap music from east coast to west coast with a whole lot of dirty south swagger. Young Sween writes and co-produces all of his music. Young Sween doesn't try to be like every other artist out there, however, he does like to make music that people can relate to. Young Sween won't do a song that doesn't move him. He believes that if he is feeling the music, the audience will undoubtedly feel it too. Young Sween is specifically influenced by great hip hop acts such as LL Cool J, UGK, NWA, Ice Cube, TuPac and Notorious B.I.G., to name a few. Young Sween has listened to these hip hop artists over the years and formed his own brand of music that gives a nod to all of his influences. Young Sween likes to think that he is bringing the sexy back to hip hop. Young Sween has the ability to transform himself from a clean cut, suave rapper/MC to a sexy hard core hip-hop artist. Young Sween believes that these very different personas can coexist and in him they do. Young Sween hails from Kansas City, MO. and has lived in Las Vegas, Atlanta and is presently residing in Houston, Texas. Young Sween was formerly a member of a hip-hop group called 9th Inning out of Las Vegas. When Young Sween came to Houston, he was exposed to the inner workings of the music industry and decided to strike out on his own and now you have what this one individual is: Ready.
