Young Sweet

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana but raised in Kentucky, Young Sweet first discovered his love for music after visiting family members in New Orleans during a summer break after he attended a second line and fell in love with the catchy tunes sung by the Indians who paraded up and down the blocks of his grandmothers neighborhood during Super Sunday. But he didn't start writing songs until he helped start a group (Goodfellaz) made of childhood friends one being Cam Dollaz who he later joined Bread Boy Entertainment with. During High school, sweet dropped his first solo mixtape "The Prince" at the age of 16 after the group (Goodfellaz) failed to drop their group project under Bread Boy Sweet became part of the duo "Cam Dollaz and Young Sweet." Through Bread Boy Entertainment the two put out "Greater Than Great" Volume 1 the mixtape included the hit single "Gotta Get It" which helped them become the first local artist featured on Keys2ky.com and earned them Kymp Kamp nominations and other local success. Sweet is also featured in the Fuse Magazine. Young Sweet has released his first official Bread Boy Entertainment mixtape titled "This Is Me" hosted by DJ Slikk was released February 14 of 2012, while preparing his mixtape Sweet has appeared on other artist mixtapes and even wrote and co-wrote songs for other local artist and is busy networking with other artist to help build his fan base. Young Sweet’s “This Is Me” was awarded the number one mixtape in the state of Kentucky. Sweet is now marketing his single “Go Girl” which is produced by Dirt Yella of UNI.
