Your Majesty’s entourage consists of David Allee (vocals/piano), Joseph Charles (guitar), Sam Carsley (bass) and Dallas Ryan (drums).
Front man David Allee is a classically trained musician who has been playing piano for over twenty years. Growing up within a family of musicians, David’s’ mother and grandmother would include him into all of their performances and lessons at the early age of four. One of Allees’ fondest memories of the piano reveals his witty sense of humor that is shared on stage with YM audiences. “I vaguely remember crawling under my mother’s piano for hours to play while she was teaching. It was like a musical fort,” jokes Allee. The importance of strong values and loyal friendships would set the tone for how his career would evolve.
Allee met Joseph Charles an accomplished guitarist, in school and established a life-long friendship. While creating music and connecting with many other talented artists, they started the band Driving By Brail in 2004. DBB began playing many of the top Hollywood venues with such acts as Lit, Dick Dale, Hum, Voodoo Glow Skulls and Thrice.
In 2006, the duo wanted to expand the musical direction of the band-focusing on the piano and separating themselves from a heavily driven guitar sound. Allee, moved from guitar back to his original love, the piano and Charles from bass to guitar. Your Majesty was born.
Your Majesty welcomed the positive energy of bassist Sam Carsley and Dallas Ryan, an energetic and passionate drummer with a hip hop flare. YM quickly began to build their fan-base and play top local shows and festivals such as the So Cal Rock Festival with major label recording artists, Story of the Year.
Your Majesty has built residencies at strong venues such as The Slide Bar and The Continental Room in Fullerton, CA and continues to play classics such as The Viper Room and House of Blues Foundation Room, Sunset Strip. YM has expand their fan-base to Las Vegas in the new music program "Unsigned" and performed at the 2010 SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas. YM is currently recording their full length album of songs at Signature Sound, San Diego, which are the centerpiece of their live show. Your Majesty’s sound would provide a great complement to the talented live acts such as Coldplay, Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Jack’s Mannequin, The Format and Band of Horses.
