YOUTH BE TOLD is a teen rock band hailing from Long Island NY who have been working towards the goal of bringing some fresh new rock music back to mainstream radio.
At only 16 and 17 years old, they have performed at some of the most well known venues on Long Island and New York City including The Grand Ballroom at Webster Hall and NYCB Theatre at Westbury. They have opened for famous bands and performers such as ZEBRA, We The Kings and Cody Simpson. They continue to leave their mark in the music scene with their incredible catchy original songs and epic rock covers.

In the summer of 2013, they had the honor of recording with legendary music producer Jack Douglas. Jack has produced albums for John Lennon, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, NY Dolls, Slash, The Who and Zebra to name just a few. Mr. Douglas heard about the band and made the trip to hear them rehearse. Soon after that visit, he reached out to say that he would like to produce the band’s debut EP and the magic began! They recorded with Jack Douglas, in the summer of 2013, making them the youngest band to ever be produced by the music legend. Their self-titled EP is now available on iTunes and Amazon.

On the performance front, the band had the honor of being invited by the iconic band Zebra to open for their show on May 31, 2014 at the legendary NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Youth Be Told received a standing ovation as they closed their show with their original song, "Words Without Meaning". 
In August, they were selected by Long Islands #1 radio station 102.3 WBAB to take part in the Homegrown Superstar competition and were one of the four finalists.
They continue to perform throughout New York and have upcoming shows TBA at The Paramount and Webster Hall!
