There is a serious lack of thought when it comes to today's songwriting processes. The average musician is more concerned with the melodic aspect of their words as opposed to the relevance and relatability of how they narrative or theme their songs. Every syllable, every line of a Youth Like Tigers song has been carefully manufactured in a way that will construct a larger picture and instill larger feelings than the played-out story of boy meets girl.
