Today I present to you the newest recording from the homies, Yugen. “Remedies,” their first release as a band, showcases their ability to blend genres, with surf-punkesque riffs added amongst the jazzy piece. What I like most about Yugen is how they are truly loyal to the art of music. They aren’t concerned with making something that will be pleasing to the ears of the masses, but rather they’re concerned with creating true art. Get familiar with “Rememdies” as you lay in bed and contemplate starting your schoolwork on this lazy Sunday.

Bio
Yugen started as the moniker for the electronic music of guitarist and producer Micah Grossman, but soon after meeting the other founding members Danny and Carter, the music started to take a different shape. The music is geared to represent an ethereal trip to the southwest, a voyage, with sounds. The once was one-peice has now turn into a sextet, playing and gathering a following within the New Orleans Jazz and Rock scene.
