Coming from Atlanta, GA, Yung Marq first picked up the mic at 16. Influenced by numerous artists such as Playboi Carti, Xxxtentacion, and Travis Scott, Yung Marq has a keen appreciation for fashion and making music. Before taking his talents to NYC, he emerged on SoundCloud with a few tapes and collaborations with his friends. Rapidly gaining in popularity the Marq started taking rap seriously in early 2019. His debut project “St. Marq The Baptist” offers his usual against the grain, rebellious attitude and at times outlandish bars but it also offers introspective tracks such as “99”. With Caribbean and New York ties and now again a resident of Atlanta, Yung Marq strives to be your boyfriend’s enemy, your girl’s favorite, and the next fashion icon all at the same time.
