"12 deliver big time with his hot single "My Thunder""

12 is an aspiring hip-hop artist that has the talent to match the drive to take his music mainstream, nationwide and worldwide.

He began at the age of 14 with his lyrical talents and nicknamed ‘whiz kid’. He signed with a local independent label but soon after took it on the road and began to captivate audiences everywhere as a solo artist. 12 became a household name as he began to work with local artists and producers from Tulsa to Oklahoma City. His style of music is a blend of southern, east coast and a sprinkle of west coast. His diverse style and technical savvy brings him to the forefront of hip-hop today.

Some of his acclaims are as follows:
• He premiered on radio stations to the urban population and due to his collaboration with E-40 the demand for constant airplay by local listeners became exciting.
• He was selected as one of four finalists among thousands of entries for MTV’s Direct Effect “Rock the Mic” contest.
• He has performed for celebrities like actress Vivica Fox’s birthday bash in New York City.
• One of his videos was featured on the prominent hip hop website www.worldstarhiphop.com featured as the ‘unsigned artist of the week’ with over 25,000 views in only 24 hours.
• He has also performed in Chicago for the Chicago Bears and even got noticed by those who love that city’s rap mogul, Kanye West.

12’s latest release is titled “Wheels Up” with single, “My Thunder” leading the way. He claims that this single is self-explanatory, “hence the Oklahoma City Thunder”, states 12. This single is a perfect introduction of ‘Oklahoma hip-hop’ as ‘every town USA’ carries their own signature dialect of this form of music. It becomes apparent of the differences once you hear it. But leave it to 12 to deliver yet a new and exciting form of hip-hop to audiences not only in Oklahoma but everywhere. This single has a real smooth rhythm with hot lyrics and a swagger that you don’t hear every day. It is a new style, a new artist, a new sound and a hot beat. This is a recipe for success. Expected release for “Wheels Up” is set for July, 2011.

12 has branched out into different genres of music and has worked with producers from all over the world. Now, coming full circle, he is working with the Jacc Spade (Toni Estes’ brother) again, the first producer that he with worked with as a solo artist.

Biography of 12

Aspiring lyrical genius, "12" (born Trevor Grayson) is prepared to take center stage as he debuts his unique talent to the hip-hop world. This artistic wordsmith combines his matchless style with diversity and intelligence.

Already taking Oklahoma by storm, he has collaborations with major artists under his belt. 12 has become a household name to the local set in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, as he has set the pace for local artists and inspired many with his meticulousness, dedication and hard work.

Premiering on radio stations broadcasted to the urban population, his collaboration with mega star "E-40" has demanded constant airplay by local listeners. He was selected as one of four finalists among thousands of entries for MTV’s Direct Effect "Rock the Mic" contest. He has performed for celebrities like actress Vivica Fox's birthday bash in New York City, where he left an unquestionable impression that he is ready to go the distance. He has performed in Chicago for Mark Anderson of the Chicago Bears even getting nods from those that idolize the Windy Citys rap mogul, Kanye West, as being the next great.

Paving the way with his mind-blowing lyrical escapades, 12 has captivated audiences since the age of 14. After signing with a local independent label, he decided to leave the label and go for the mainstream approach where he could gain mass audience attention and contribute his style to a more diverse genre with his "whiz kid" lyrical savvy. His talent is noted as a unique blend of southern, east coast, and a dab of west coast ingredients. With songs such as "Money" and "Who You Know," 12 personifies the Midwest and demonstrates his lyrical geniuses as a force to be recon with.

With so many consumers questioning the plight of Hip Hop and the lyrical direction that artist and labels are taking to reach the masses, 12 delivers knowledge and messages with "something to dance to" beats. His first CD, "A Boy from Oklahoma" hit the streets though independent distribution and sold thousands of copies within its first week.
