The Prince of the South AKA Yung D started to make his mark on the rap game when he hit the rap scene hard with his smash hit of 2006 that made his city of Memphis “Certified”. Yung D followed up the hit single Certified with two other smash hits, “What You Think About Me” and “Laugh at ‘Em”. He was featured on the number one rap song in the U.S., “Lolli Lolli” off the Three Six Mafia album, “Last to Walk”, which he also won a BMI Urban Music Award for his part on the song. The young star is now showing the world why he is the closest to the King with his new single “Retarded”, taking over the streets and killing the clubs in the South. The new mixtape “Whom Shall I Fear * Hip Hop Resurrected”.
After parting ways with Hypnotized Minds in 2009 Yung D started Monumental Music and after years of developing new albums December 11, 2012 Yung D partnered with Urban Music Digital.
