Young Kori first attracted record labels with his hit "church boy", but his calling for music started 8 years when he heard a voice from God telling him that he would glorify Christ with his lyrics. However, influenced by the glamorous lifestyle of worldly rappers, Cory did opposite of what God instructed him to do.
At the age of 17, Cory's mother and father died,and feeling helpless, Cory found himself selling drugs, using drugs, and participating in premarital sex.
He also became homeless which led to him shacking up with friends and even sleeping in police stations. His life seemed to be heading downhill, that is until he conjured up enough courage to ask his sister, a minister at AFC ministries for help. She encouraged him to volunteer in the ministries, eventually leading to him receiving salvation and his arrival to the AFC Elkhart church. it was in Elkhart that Cory rededicated his life to God, and made a committed to use his gift of rapping to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Cory released his two mix tapes, "Lifestyle of the Young and Relentless volume 1 & 2". When he made a commitment to do God's will, God blessed Cory. God blessed Cory with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. He is currently promoting his latest album, "Reporting live from the Block"! Great things are still in store for Young Kori.
