Jamil LaCour, better known as Yung Mills, was born on July 17, 1991 is a talented and versatile recording artist from Tulsa Oklahoma. Yung Mills has been writing lyrics for 11 years and has been engineering music for 3 years. Yung Mills has recorded several underground mixtapes and performed various shows at local clubs and some dhows on a very large scale. In Dec. of 2012 he met Marcus Ligons Jr, who is now his manager, and he introduced Yung Mills to the world of music behind the scenes of all fame and fantasy of the industry and what’s beyond just his state. Yung Mills signed to Marcus’s independent label Ready or Not Records and has not looked back. His first eye opening experience was when they went to the We Working showcase, put on by Marcus’s long time friend Steve Lobel in Hollywood, California in Oct. of 2013. A year later they grew as a team and made great strides in their careers together and eventually got back to North Hollywood to the Independent Entertainment Summit and impressed Larry D Henderson after a mind blowing performance. Now they our growing as a brand with the talent and the right people behind them, they wants to not only bring something new to the table, but eventually pioneer the way music is performed, recorded and listened to. This young talent has all the potential in the world and with their motto Hard Work Pays Off, there is no limit to success and innovation they can bring to the world.
