Born and raised in the in the Oakland streets Yung Mook learned to be productive in whatever she did at a very early age and many times her life depended on it. Music turned into a gateway for this young artist to express feelings that she could never seem to just talk to a regular person about. The beats touched her soul and the words massaged her brain causing her to combine both and create a sound that no one could ever repeat. Every painful, happy, sad, stressful or any other emotion that she felt can be felt through her music.
