Demetrius Denzel Montgomery (aka Million Dolla Prod/Yung Prod) was born on January 3, 1993 in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He always had a love for music even when he was younger, but his music career didn’t start until the fall of 2004, when his uncle, that he was very close to, passed away from a sudden heart attack. After his uncle passed, Million Dolla Prod, and a few relatives and friends began making music and started to create a music group called “The Al Boys” in memory of his late uncle. Once the group started writing songs, Million Dolla Prod’s rapping skills quickly developed and he fell in love with making songs.

As the years went by, he was soon recognized as a good rapper all around the local area. Once Million Dolla prod got into high school, he met a young producer named Jon Patterson. Jon Patterson began making beats and producing music for Million Dolla Prod. When weeks and days went past, Jon Patterson introduced Million Dolla Prod to another producer that he knew named Eric Williams (aka Ewill). Once Ewill heard Million Dolla Prod material, Ewill quickly introduced him to his manager, the co-founder of Unlimited Production Music (UPM), to talk to him about becoming a new artist. Since then, Million Dolla Prod has had several indie record offers and has done shows with numerous mainstream artists. He has also built his own local fan base.
