"A CREATIVE'S MANIFESTO"

The up-and-coming Dallas DJ Rachel Harvey, AKA YUNGURSAMINOR shares five ways in which, as a creative, she strives to inspire herself and others to create as their best selves. - Austere Magazine

"Keep Moving."

"The evening started off with a set by up-and-coming local DJ YUNGURSAMINOR, who combined other Dallas-based artists like Post Malone, The Outfit TX, Sam Lao and Blue, The Misfit with everything from Jagged Edge, Purity Ring and Death Grips to set a vibe that was inclusive of all music tastes." - Central Track

"OAKTOPIA & NAKID AFTERPARTY {EVENTS\MUSIC FESTIVALS}"

"New comer YUNGURSAMINOR is sneaking into the scene Dallas scene with a very spontaneous personality that portrays in her music. We heard the Producer spin last week at Buffalo Black’s release party last week and after meeting her we felt the need to add another set to the show to showcase these chill vibes." - Nakid Magazine

Bio

YUNGURSAMINOR is a black feminist music curator, or DJ. Currently residing in Dallas, Flexxxas and consistently upholding our local community of artists.

Ursa has worked with numerous organizations including Red Bull, Nakid Magazine, Oaktopia Festival, Austere Magazine, and Collective Status.

She believes that a DJ's primary job is to break music and expose listeners to something they've never heard before.

Ursa primarily plays whatever it is that she feels that day (probably Death Grips), and sticks hard to her "No Requests" rule.

If someone asks for the name of any song she played during a set, then she considers the gig a success.
