Christopher McCallister, a.k.a. Yung Zerk, is the newest bay area rapper to the block. New style, new voice, new attitude. Still holdin it down for the hood, but tired of the same routine rap, he's determined to change the music industry.
In the studio for the last six months, Yung Zerk has nearly completed his debut album.
Zerk has a style and flow that will make you think of Jay Z, but in a matter of seconds you know it's someone you never heard before. He has a way of drawing you into the rhymes with songs about struggling to survive as youngster, losing friends, or about his son.
Yung Zerk has a started a movement among his crowd in the bay area, but it goes much deeper than the bay roots. His crew, LOLIFZ, which he commonly refers to as " all my lifaz, folks that served time without being behind bars". He is 100% west coast, but he's doin this for everybody, not just his homestate.
