Yvonne McC Music
A well traveled, outgoing, well versed singer/songwriter, Yvonne McCarthy comes from a musical family in a small village by the name of Askeaton in Co.Limerick.
Yvonne began performing live at the young age of just ten, taking to local stages and later on making appearances with her fathers band, ‘Flashback’ and in more recent years her brothers band ‘Acoustra’.
Having completed Secondary School she went on to study songwriting & music in a Performing Arts College in Cork called Stiofan Naofa where she achieved distinctions in performance. It was here that Yvonne began writing on guitar & piano. And so she began solo recording.
The sound and songs she has developed have been inspired by the experiences and many gigs on the road throughout Europe, New Zealand & Australia over the past 4 years.
Currently based in Limerick, Yvonne is working as a full time musician, performing at clubs, pubs, & festivals throughout Ireland and recording new material on a daily basis.
