Bio
Žagar is one of the most significant acts of the Eastern European electronica scene. On stage the four-pieces band hitting with po- werful, psychedelic gigs. Their unique live sound is a mixture of dub, electronica and oriental soundscapes.
For their latest album they have received staunch support from the likes of BBC 6Music’s Don Letts, Amazing Radio and Future Music, whilst also being nominated for ‘Best Local Act’ at the MTV European Music Awards following the success of their hit single Wings of Love. They have also composed many soundtracks for feature lms and TV shows - the most notable is the American CSI series.
In 2018 they released an Anniversary Remix Edition of their vital back-catalogue featuring cutting-edge producers like Vakula, Kellerkind, Nico Pusch and Terry Lee Brown Jr. supported by Telekom Electronic Beats. Their new studio album sheduled for 2019 Spring.
