Zach Oliver is a self-proclaimed bastard born British boy, from Harlow in Essex, England who grew up in Toronto, Canada. The Same city that Drake, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and The Weeknd all hail from. His journey as a singer songwriter began like most skilled musicians; the sheer inspiration to create musical fusion after watching the film School Of Rock for the first time. At the nimble age of 10, he began writing songs. At the age of 18, Zach was asked to be on the X Factor in London, England, by Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher’s, girlfriend. At 20 years old, he graduated from Fanshawe College’s music production program. Zach recorded his first 6 song EP that was self-produced and self-engineered at his parent’s house. With that release he began working with established Artist Manager Mark Lea from Nelly Furtado’s Management company. At 21, after his 2018 Canadian Music week showcase, Zach was scouted by CTV’s The Launch. These opportunities were turned down as Zach did not want to be an overnight TV-made success. He wanted to take the time to perfect his sound and build a strong musical foundation. Since then, Zach has released 27 tracks and accumulated over 14 million global streams. Zach has tuned down numerous record deals to keep his music raw, his soul grounded and his voice true. Think of a good Canadian whisky, drank underground, during the prohibition. He is underrated and bold with notes of honey.
