Bio

Music will never let me down, so I will never let it down.
Zachary Hallam, is an up-and-coming artist from the West Island of Montreal. He started playing guitar seven years ago, when his father bought a guitar for his older sister. Intrigued by the instrument, he watched his father and sister play together.
With his parents being former musicians (the father drummer and mother a lead singer), it's obvious that music's in his genes. Without any lessons, he quickly managed to learn how to write, sing and play his own music.
Upon receiving his first guitar from a friend, a new friendship was created and he never looked back. Influenced by Teddy Geiger and NeverShoutNever, he decided that he wanted to create is own music to express himself about his relationships, break-ups and every little thing in life that makes you want to sing out loud. He started writting his own songs, because he figured, 'why not?'
In 2006, After moving in with one of his friends who had some amazing equipment available at his disposal, he started recording videos of covers and his own music. Today, he has over 17 000 views, not including his videos posted on Facebook.
About a year ago, one of Zach's friends, died of cancer. These events forced Zach to look in the mirror and realize that, there were some changes that had to be made in his life. One of the things that she told Zach is. “You can never take life for granted. If you want something, you have to go out and get it yourself.” This is what makes him who he is today.
Ever since then, Zach wants nothing more than to break through the walls surrounding him and get his music out into the wild for the world to hear.
Zach's music sounds similar to NeverShoutNever, Hedley, and Joe Brooks. All because of the acoustic feel he has to his music.
