Bio

Zachary Bramble (b. 1988) is an American singer/songwriter, composer, pianist and music teacher. Some of his recent works include collaborating with students and faculty at the University of Central Florida on student animation projects including film shorts “Box Forts” and “Flower Story.” “Flower Story” won best student project award at the 2012 Central Florida Film Festival. In 2010 Bramble was among the Top 10 Semi-Finalists in the first annual Folgers Coffee Company Jingle Contest (piano and vocals: pop style for TV/Media) judged by American Idol’s Kara Dioguardi.

Additional commissions include his original compositions titled “Exclamare Vociferationes”, commissioned for orchestra and “Fantasia in G Minor" for Solo Piano. Zach has one published work through the Potenzamusic.com distributor entitled Agents of Espionage, produced for film in collaboration with clarinetist Dr. Brian Viliunas, University of Samford, Alabama.

Zach received his Bachelor of Music in Composition and Theory (Composition) with a focus in Piano Performance from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ), Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts/School of Music. He studied music composition under the direction of Roshanne Etezady, Jody Rockmaker, Rodney Rogers, and Glenn Hackbarth, and Piano under the direction of Janice Meyer-Thompson and Ciao Pagano.

Zach began playing the piano at the age of five and started arranging music shortly after he started formal piano lessons at the age of six. Currently living in Southern California, Zach performs his contemporary music and collaborations at local private and small public venues.

Member of: Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL); American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP); Music Teacher’s Association of California (MTAC).
