Bio
As the guitarist, producer, and collaborator to numerous musical artists, Zach Cutler’s sense of groove has been an integral part to the sound of the independent soul scene over the past two decades. His reputation for a sturdy and in-the-pocket rhythm style on both acoustic and electric guitar have become his hallmark, and have provided the backdrop for his work with Grammy-nominated artists Raheem Devaughn and Wayna, Grammy-winner Melanie Fiona, and many other fantastic vocalists. Currently, Zach serves as the guitarist and musical director for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members and soul music legends The Impressions, where he has the honor of leading the band while playing the iconic guitar parts of one of his biggest influences, Mr. Curtis Mayfield.
Zach has performed at the 2016 BET Honors, the Essence Festival, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and has been featured on NPR, Voice of America, and VH1’s Good Morning Buzz.
