"Zach Lockwood to perform at CMA Music Festival 2013"

Zach Lockwood is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter who blends the honesty of modern country with the contagious energy of rock and roll.

Zach’s musical success began at a young age as he performed at local venues, sharing the stage with artists such as Edwin McCain, Martin Sexton, and Keller Williams. Upon graduating high school, Zach began writing with Nashville country artist Chad Warrix of the duo Halfway to Hazard. While attending classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Zach also began playing with other young talented musicians, which has pushed him to perform and write at a higher level.

In the past year, Zach has been co-writing and demoing material in Nashville and sharing the stage with established artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Corey Smith, Colt Ford, Randy Houser, Josh Kelley, Jason Michael Carroll and David Nail. In February of 2013, Zach hit the road as part of the "COUNTRY GONE WILD Tour" with Parmalee and Bush Hawg. - CMA.com
