Bio

Born November 7, 1983 in Memphis TN, where he continues to live today Zach Myers is homegrown Memphis. Only 17 years old, already Zach has developed his own style of playing. In 1998 Buddy Guy invited Zach to join him on stage during his sold out show at B.B. Kings Club on Beale Street. The man and the kid rocked the house. Kenny Wayne Shepherd has taken a big brother approach toward Zach since they connected in 1998. Zach was invited to jam with Kenny Wayne, at a benefit concert in 1998 for victims of the Jonesboro, Arkansas shootings. A private audience with B.B. King found the young guitarist spellbound as Mr. King quizzed him about his goals and talent.

Beginning as a rock blues artist when he was 14, at the age of 18, Zach now has come into his own as far as songwriting and playing. Although he is now considered a ROCK act, Zach incorporates his love of blues with his new direction.

After the band recently showcased at a Music Conference, Entertainment Atty, George Stein (former manager of Jeff Buckley) met with the band and asked to work with them. To quote Mr. Stein “Zach is the Real Deal”.

Bass player Michael “MO” Morales joins Zach. This veteran’s experience is influenced by funk, jazz, blues and rock, having worked over the years touring and doing session work this such artists at Victor Wooten (Bela Fleck and The Fleck Tones), Carter Beauford (the Dave Matthews Band), Charlie Adams (Yanni), Skipp Pitts (Issaac Hayes Band), Taj Mahal (Horde Tour of 96) and the Julian Lennon Band. On drums, is Garrett Marshall. Garret is said to have been born with drumsticks in hand. He is the son of Bill Marshall drummer to Hank Williams Jr..

The band is finishing up recording their first full length cd with Producer John Hampton (Gin Blossoms, Jimmy Vaughn) at Ardent Studios in Memphis

Zach has had two songs in the top 20 on the overall charts on Garageband.com with those songs being numbers 2 &3 in the Blues Charts. The band is also performed at Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA as a part of the Garageband.com Presents Showcase.

Zach is currently taking vocal lessons from Jan Smith (Collective Soul, Dave Matthews, Rob Thomas) showing his never-ending work ethic to do whatever it takes to improve himself and his musical abilities.

One of the highlights of his musical career was headlining at the brand new B.B. Kings Club on 42nd. St. in New York City. This was the bands first appearance in NYC and was very well received. The day after the show, Zach sat on the rehearsal of the David Letterman Show where he got to meet Biff and Paul Schaeffer.

The band is gearing up for their second tour to Norway, then will be doing a short tour with Erick Gales at various House of Blues Venues throughout the United States.
