It's 'at home' feel lets listeners relate to it, however it's got something mysterious about it that you can't quite figure out.

Biography

Some of my main influences are artists from a wide variety of genres. They are as follows: Iron & Wine, Fleet Foxes, Fionn Regan, Old Crow Medicine Show, Marc Broussard, John Mayer, Priscilla Ahn, Dave Matthews, SRV, Lyle Lovett, and many more.

I've recently adapted a new style for me, known as folk. It's a mysterious genre that allows listeners to have room for interpretation. It's a dark feel. It's the subtle stress in your life that you can't explain. It's music at it's best. And that's what I'm going for.

Lyrics

The Girl From The Pub

Written By: Zach Wells

I’ve been sittin’ on this stool, waitin’ for you to come.
Every once in a while you hear the drums.
You come here when there’s nothin’ else to do,
But I come just to see you.

The house band starts to play
And I know today’s the day.
I’ll take you hand and say
What I’ve been meaning to say.

Even though I cannot dance I’d like to say I swing,
Cause I know when you are in my arms I’ll be your everything,
Because I want you to be my queen.
Oh I want you as my queen.

Hush now you better let me speak.
I’ve been dreamin’ of this moment for a week.
Be quiet, you better listen to what I say
Then you can dance the whole night away.

Even though I cannot dance I’d like to say I swing,
Cause I know when you are in my arms I’ll be your everything,
Because I want you to be my queen.

Wishing Well

Written By: Zach Wells

I wonder if anyone will be there
When they put me in the ground.
I wonder if my father will notice
That I'm not still around.
I wonder if my mother will miss me
After they cover me with dirt.
And I wonder if my girl will still sleep
In my shirts.

Only time will tell
If I'm still alive and well.
We cast our coins in wishing wells,
Wasting our time with ourselves.

I wonder who will replace me
Playing songs in church.
I wonder who will erase me
From the list at work.
I wonder if the trails that I cut
Will grow back up tall.
And I wonder if someone will put my name
On a wall.

Only time will tell
If I'm still alive and well.
We cast our coins in wishing wells,
Wasting our time with ourselves.

And as my body
Turns to sand,
Oh, I wonder if I'll be smiling
Or if my face will be in my hands.

Only time will tell
If I'm still alive and well.
We cast our coins in wishing wells,
Wasting our time with ourselves.
