At the age of 18, Zac took out the acoustic section of the Tasmanian Rock Challenge in 2009, Zac looks set to become the new solo hero around town. His voice is quite extraordinary, falling somewhere between Dave Adams and Sting, whilst his guitar work is closer to a Jack Johnson and Ben Harper / John Mayer style. If his recent performances are anything to go by, then he will soon be playing to packed venues.
Local magazine Sauce says, “keep your eyes open and ears listening and/or come along to one of his shows!
The Zac Slater band, members are: Zac Slater (Vocals & Lead guitar)
Steve Sowerby (Drums),
Billy Bennett (Rhythm guitar),
Steve Quinn (Bass).
He never seems to disappoint when taking to the stage, with regular performances, great energy, catchy tunes, and a great time, Zac Slater should not be missed!
