As the front man of “Seven8Six” America’s first Muslim boyband, Zafar Razzaqi has toured across the world from North America to the Middle East and Europe. He has performed on some of the world’s greatest stages, including Australia’s Acer Arena and England’s famed Royal Albert Hall. His musical adventures with the young South Asian-American fivesome have been featured on MTV Asia and BBC television networks. Through all of this, it has been obvious that Zafar isn’t your average entertainer.

Now, he has grown up into a storyteller. Zafar's insightful and provocative songs talk of the struggles we all face within to understand life and the world around us. His inspired songwriting takes you into the pages of his diary and shares his hopes, dreams, frustrations after life on the road for many years. "I've seen a lot of things and experienced many emotions. There's a lot I have to say, so the music speaks for itself." Take a walk in his shoes along this journey of discovery, exploring all the angles of being a little different in the world today. The innovative mix of soulful vocals atop folk, urban, and world-flavored music capture the many dimensions of Zafar's mind.

On his solo debut album, Zafar has teamed up with producers from around the globe, including the U.K., South Africa, Middle East, India, and big cities across the U.S. including Chicago, L.A., and his hometown Detroit. This collection of musical influences reflects his attitude towards life. "We're shaped by the world around us. The people in our lives have a lot of influence on who we are." So who is Zafar Razzaqi? He is me. He is you. He is a little bit of all of us.
