Bio
The Zahria Sims Collective is a jazz/funk/r&b fusion band based in New Orleans. They are a group of college students in the New Orleans area who connected through music and grew into a talented up-and-coming band. The members are Zahria Sims on tenor sax, Jacob Peffer on alto, Ryan Pennington on guitat, Dane Harter on bass, Travis Simmons on drums, Shout Young on keys, and Rocky Leonard on vocals. Zahria Sims, the bandleader, says,"Creating music with this special group of musicians has been the highlight of my time in New Orleans, and I can't wait to take on the world with them."
