"Zaiah Burke Releases Video For “Live Live” Single"

NEWPORT NEWS, VA (OCT. 15, 2012)—Zaiah Burke, a 22-year-old hip hop artist from Virginia released visuals to his latest single “Live Live” directed by Micah E. Wood.

Composed of candid live shots of Burke performing in a packed house, and supported by neon typography, the video captures the meaning of the song as the audience of 20-somethings waves their hands back and forth to the track and sings along.

“Crowd control is everything during a performance whether it’s ten people or ten thousand people in the crowd, [I] treat it the same,” he said. “My goal at every show is to capture new fans and make my previous fans anticipate what I do next.”

Burke continues to exhibit crowd control throughout as fans sing, “We live live, we love life, we live it up every night.”

Zaiah Burke has released several projects via his site, ZaiahBurke.com and collaborated with artists such as Tabbi Bonney, Nikelus F and Brian (B. Beck) Birbeck, singer and producer of “Aww Yeah” by rap trio Travis Porter. Burke has also booked and performed in dozens of showcases across the country.

“I’m not on a mission to do what people like, but [to] get people to like what I do,” he said. “I feel like being yourself makes for a better future versus being ‘it’ for the moment.” - Jaliza Braxton

Bio

Zaiah grew up mostly in Newport News, VA. His old soul developed early on. He speaks a lot about listening to the music his mother would play. “My Old Earth (his mother) is 38 years my senior so I use to play her records on the turntable when I was growing up.” Zaiah says he got his musical taste from the soulful stuff, and by the 2nd grade, Zaiah was creating his first verses.
