The best kept secret in music

“Zaida Alfaro is a pop/rock Goddess in the making. Her music is a breath of fresh air and a siren song for the tired ears of music fans all over the world. Her future is very bright indeed.” - Michael Allison

“This is a fine album, with great music and superb lyrics, not to mention Zaida Afaro's wonderful voice. This album is sweet, sweet, sweet! You won't get tired of this one. Buy it! It's a winner!” - Len Goforth
Filled with smart lyrics, enchanting melodies and mellifluous harmonies, Zaida Alfaro’s CD, “Train Ride,” is a bright spot on the pop horizon. Alfaro’s delicate vocals belie the world weariness of the lyrics — “Time has swept my breath away/ And I’m falling from this world/ And now I ask myself who I should be.” Listeners will be entranced by the rich and powerful tapestry painted in the words and music on this CD. Hit Picks: "Falling" and "Don’t Turn Around" - Sandra T. Molina

"Zaida Alfaro is a great new talent in the music world, her combination of poetry, folk guitar roots, and shear honesty make for a great sound. It's refreshing to hear something as honest and fun as this album. It's upbeat and allows you to feel the motivations behind the songs. I personally listened to this album a few times back to back when I received it. It's very fresh and keeps it's strength time and time again. If you are looking for an album with strong tracks, great ideas, and a great vibe, this is a wonderful album for you. The album is available off Zaida's website. It's a great pick up I highly recommend." - Samuel Barker

Feeling a bit camera shy

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, 24-year-old Zaida Alfaro grew up with talent all around her. Zaida's mother taught her how to play the piano when she was 12 years old.

Zaida began her music career shortly after she started working for Rudy Ibarra, who later became her Manager and Producer. After the first studio session, Rudy was convinced of Zaida’s beautiful voice and enormous talent.

Several studio sessions later, her life took a turn on it's own. Out of these experimental sessions came out the chord progressions, melodies, and words to “Don't Turn Around”, “Without You” and “Wherever You Go”. After months of practicing, Zaida began composing her music on the guitar and composed the rest of the material for her first CD “Train Ride”.

Zaida's lyrics portray the different journeys her life has taken her through. The album, like a train ride, takes you through heartache, hardships, falling in love, and happiness.

"I want my music to be the window to my soul for the world to peek in. It is more than just listening to the songs, it is…breathing in the words."
