Zarz and Band have been described as "A Darker U2 laced with Pearl Jam and Live"
Zarz and Band recently had 2 songs appear in an Australian feature film Green Fire Envy. The 2 songs will also be released on the soundtrack for the movie.
We take our time on each song to make sure it's of the upmost standard so as to not sound like so many other bands around...Bands who just want to get out there!!!
Why do we work so hard? Because not only do we want to "Get out there" BUT....We want to stay "out there" for many many years to come.
You will hear influnces like the said U2,Pearl Jam, Live description and also influences such as Niel Young, the Police, The Cure and so on and so forth.
What sets us apart from others? Well, apart from the singer's (Zarz) vocals...it's the way that the other three musicians take the music Zarz writes and turn it into something bigger than what He can do alone!
The way that an audience feels connected to each song, like its something special and that they (the listener) have been to such places in thier lives too.
It can be said that not only does Zarz and band create songs to tap your foot to, they also (and sometimes within the same song!) create songs you can absolutely relate to.
