Bio

ZEAPHY:
Growing up in Ottumwa, Iowa is by no means an ideal situation for up and coming artists looking to spread their wings in the game of Hip Hop and compete with the heavy hitters of the streets of big city living. However, luckily for us, 19-year-old rapper Zeaphy has built a strong buzz online through his unique style of storytelling, smoothed out verses, and swift flow that is reminiscent of Detroit’s finest Eminem, despite being surrounded in a rustic environment. His satirical style of rap also blends in elements of real life and wisdom that is reflective from his pragmatic upbringing about being adopted, to relationships, love to overcoming obstacles in order to attaining his dreams of being a rapper. Zeaphy exemplifies a dedicated passion within his music, “Live no worries and you can die a happy man, this is where my values stand, from who I am, listen this is from the soul hearted, way down by the roots, with the flow sweeter than fruits, this is real...” Fusing a wide array of musical influences ranging from Outkast, Dr. Dre, MGMT, and psychedelics to even rock classics such as Fleetwood Mac. His brand new single “Sky Is Blue”, produced by the ingenious NYC Producer, Yoshi Kondo, is now available on I-Tunes for purchase for only $0.99, and features the sample from the soulful voice of Stevie Nicks from the song “Dreams.” When asked about his distinctive style of songwriting, he mentions, “I feel my music is my own, I've always been thinking about how to make it sound different and creative, I feel like it’s just my style.” Through the integration of his own musical palate, he cannot be tied down to the traditional conventions of everyday hip-hop. He’s bringing his own style to the table. Already, he’s performed on the same stage opening up for the top industry professionals such as Young Joc, Young Buck, DJ Rob E. Rob, and Mike Page. What’s next for this young rapper you ask, he’s already been featured on several mix-tapes on DatPiff.com, plans on continuing to perform and record and will stop at nothing to have his music heard.

Zeaphy- “Coming out from a small hood, they say it was impossible, but nothing is impossible and impossible is nothing” (SKY IS BLUE).?
