Zebra Pulse was born at a Valentine's Day open mic noise jam in 2007. As a three-piece we explored the reaches of experimental noise. The addition of drums in 2012 has reinforced the driving rhythm, adding an anchor to the overall sound.
The band's unusual sound has earned us some unusual experiences. From 3am dance parties at olympic resistors secret HQs in Vancouver to shattering glass tables in Lethbridge, we've played everything from a child's first birthday to the 2009 Sled Island fake jazz showcase (alongside Space Rabbies and Shearing Pinx).
