Urban missionary. Hip Hop Worship Artist. Evangelist.
A student at Berea College, Melchizedek - born Breon A. Thomas - has been devoted to urban evangelistic ministry since the age of 15. As a rapper and an evangelist, he is on a mission to introduce Jesus Christ to his generation. He was a servant leader in the non-profit organization “Student Venture” in high school, while in student venture Breon was involved in starting lunch bible studies in his high school (Brainerd High School in Chattanooga TN) were the gospel of Jesus Christ was able to be shared with close to 75 teenagers a week. Though connection with student venture and New City fellowship church in Chattanooga TN Breon was able to go on a mission trip to Nairobi Kenya, were he worked with disabled Kenyans and also ministered to schools and churches while there in Kenya. Furthermore While in Kenya he celebrated his 18th birthday. He has also ministered in rap and dance to audiences of 200+. He was a featured artist at the *No Fear Conference, hosted by Pastor Kevin Adams of Olivet Baptist Church (Chattanooga, TN), where Grammy nominated gospel artist Tye Tribett was the guest speaker. Most recently, he has ministered with the international King of Kings Skateboard Ministry when they came to Berea Kentucky. Currently he is scheduled to release his first album May 5th 2008 titled “Hood of the Priest”.
