Who are Zegema Beach!?
Based on the UK south coast in the town they call Southsea , Zegema Beach combine Dub , Pop , Rock and whatever else they fancy into a Cabbareggae mash up that gets heads bobbing and feet stomping .Rock steady drums, rolling bass , shimmering and occasionally crushing guitar infused with the sweet sweet harmonies of Roxy Johns and Weaver – ZB’s very own Reggae Jarvis Cocker.
In their short but busy existence ZB have already recorded a debut album ‘ The Wrong Island ‘ embarked on their own UK headline Tour, hit the UK Festival circuit which saw the band headline The Waters Edge Stage at Bearded Theory Festival 2012 and played with the likes of Easy Star All Stars , Dreadzone , Cas Haley , Gentleman's Dub Club , Sonic Boom Six and fulfilled a lifelong ambition to share the stage with DJ Luck & MC Neat..........
