"Zen and Jane" is a husband/wife acoustic folk, jazz band out of Central Ohio. With a unique sound, they have a love of music that is clearly heard in their songwriting, and are able to play acoustically or with a full band. Zen and Jane (formerly Avodah) has opened for many bands, including Ellery, Chris Staples, and more, as well as headlining their own shows around the Northeast Ohio/Northwest Pennsylvania areas. Recording with one of the best independent sound technicians in the region, Dave Seymour, at "The Ranch," Zen and Jane have recorded and released 2 digital EP's, and are working on a third as well as an anticipated compilation album (with some special extras!). Major influences for the band are Glen Hansard, Sufjan Stevens, John Legend, Norah Jones, and Samantha Crain. Members include singer/songwriters Jenn and Zane Sanders, with the appearance of bassist, Micah Tedeschi, and drummer, Brad Unruh.
