The new sensation out of Central Australia is the up and coming band Zenith. Preforming together for just over two years, these young guns from the Outback are creating quite a stir. With the release of their first CD, Van Jammin containing twelve originals covering reggae, roots and rock Zenith has gained a loyal following throughout the Territory. Take no prisoners is the approach when they hit the stage. Their gutsy passion for music will capture an audience from the first song. With a sound all their own, they rock crowds through out the NT. Their first shot at the big stage was BassInTheDust in 2005 where their performance got them a special invitation to perform at BassInTheGrass this year in Darwin. The band captured the attention of the media and the crowd . This four piece teenage band intertwines an acoustic based sound with creative rhythms from drummer Callum Mackenzie (16), percussionist Aaron Clark(17) and bassist Evan Berard(16). Guitarist and lead vocalist Jayden McGrath(16) fronts the band playing an assortment of Acoustic, electric and lap steel guitars.
